When going through some old photos, I found the strangest thing... a photograph of my grandmother... with a gun! She might have been trying to chase your Dad away? If that's the case, she missed.
My dad wasn't born yet. This was when my grandmother was growing up on the farm! She was a girl! Funny response, though... (-:
